Workshop Discussion:
-Next quarterly workshop tentatively set for Saturday, February 4th 2023 at Carmel Clay Library. Topic will once again be “Intro to Ham Radio”.
-David KC9AAP will be taking over foxhunt duties while Derek KD9MEQ returns to Purdue for another semester
-Discussion takes place on the battery life of the fox, during the last hunt it lasted about 2.5 hours
-All agreed that Simon Moon Park in Westfield is a great starting point for the foxhunts
-Next foxhunt scheduled for Sunday, January 8th at 1 p.m.

Meeting Locations:
-101 Beer Kitchen proved to be very loud and the private space was not very private
-Moving forward meetings will be held at locations that are better suited for group discussion
-Next member’s meeting will be held on Monday, January 16th at 18:30 at Union Jacks in Westfield (reservation confirmed). There is a back room, say you’re with “Piglet Radio”
-February’s member’s meeting will be held on Monday, February 20th at 18:30 at Syd’s in Noblesville (reservation confirmed). The upstairs is currently being renovated however the dining room will be available. It’s possible the renovation will be done by 2/20/2023, Alex will call closer to the date to confirm and if needed move the party to upstairs

Winter Field Day
Winter Field Day is Saturday January, 28th-Sunday, January 29th
Location: Coxhall Gardens Carmel
N9BCN will be operating 2O
-Those interested in overnight shifts: W9SDM and KD9MEQ
-KC9AAP, KD9UYC and KC9TJJ all offering generators for the event
-N9BCN will be working two outdoor stations, Station 1: CW/Digital Station 2: SSB
-Both stations will have a FTDX10, multiple antenna options were discussed including the Buddihex
-KC9AAP will setup laptops and logging software
-AC9XK agreed to help coordinate Winter Field Day along with KD9UYC and KC9TJJ
Final details will be discussed during January’s members meeting
